Features
Divvy is a 'Make Your Own' Reservation System. Here's a list of what you'll find in the Divvy Tool Kit:
Item Options:
- Resources (e.g. bicycles, conference rooms, boats)
- Services (e.g. a stylist offering a cut, a cut and color, or a perm; a massage therapist offering shiatsu, Swedish, or hot stone therapy)
- Appointments (e.g. financial consulting sessions on specific times and dates; shift scheduling; personal training sessions)
- Events (e.g. parties, conferences)
- Custom Items
Custom Item Features:
- Multiple instances (e.g. your have 3 conference rooms, or 50 slots, or 2 simultaneous sessions)
- Minimum and maximum reservation times
- Minimum and maximum lead times (e.g. must reserve at 1 day in advance, but no more than 6 months in advance)
- Set automatic buffers between reservations (e.g. 15 minutes between each reservation)
- Set quotas (e.g. no more than 3 reservations per week, no more than 5 active reservations)
- Establish default availability/non-availability (e.g. not available on Tuesdays from 2 - 4pm, available weekdays from 8am - 5pm)
- Require your users to sign off on documents before access to items is granted
- Present users with questions which must be answered for each reservation
Pricing Features:
- Basic Rates (e.g. $5 per hour or $150 per week)
- Fixed Fees (amounts or percentages. e.g. $5 per reservation or 10% of total reservation charge)
- Non-refundable fees (amounts or percentages. e.g. $1 or 1% of total charge)
- Security Deposits (e.g. $250 to be refunded 2 days after the end of the reservation)
- Tip Jar (users pay what they want, when they want)
- Automated refund and store credit rules (e.g. offer a full refund for cancelations up to 2 days in advance and store credit for cancelations up to 1 day in advance)
- Time day, day of week, and seasonal pricing (e.g. default price is $10 per hour, or $3 per hour after 8pm, or $5 per hour on Sundays, or $7 between June 1st and June 15th)
- Role-based pricing (e.g. $10 per hour basic rate, but friends are free or Platinum members are $5 per hour for the first 10 reservations)
- Quantity discounts (e.g. $10 per hour basic rate, but if you book more than 2 sessions per week, rate goes to $5 per hour or if you book more than 5 hours, then subsequent hours are only $3)
- Membership pricing (e.g. your users can purchase a "plan" that grants them a certain number of reservations or amount of time until some expiration date)
- Manually debit/credit users
Payment Options:
- Use Divvy to track use of free items
- Use Divvy to track balances due for fee-based items (you arrange payment offline)
- Integrate your divvy site with your Paypal premiere or business account to fully automate billing, to include security deposit handling, refunds, and store credit.
- Have users pay as they go, or enable 'post pay' which allows users to pay after the fact.
